ha! more Bowser! i think i've got the hang of his head at least, the rest of him though... oi...i just love Bowser and Kamek! seriously, i do. And it's weird thinking of Bowser as KING, like, a real king. i mean, we only ever see him either A) plotting to capture the Princess, or B) capturing the Princess. we never see him have to deal with kingly duties. in this case, having to hold an audience with all the little people complaining about how they're crops are failing and they're planning to use all the goombas as an emergency food supply.
Bowser's just bored and growing angry at the poor koopa's grating voice though, apparently.
So uh yeah, here i have Bowser having to deal with the downside of kingship (cause it's not all just fun and war all the time), and Kamek standing there being all helpful, adviser to the king... with his nose -- err -- beak in a book of some sort.
my only real problem with this picture is the shading. i BOTCHED the shading on this one, like, bad. and that's WEIRD, 'cause shading is usually one of strong suits! and NO comments on Bowser's bands. PLEASE. i know, they look like crap on a stick, but hey, at least i drew the spikes this time. oh well, you lose some and you win some, and sometimes you just lose BAD.
despite my complaining though, i DO like how this piece came out. anyway, i guess that it's for now!

This is definitely a great improvement from your first try! You've caught that bored and annoyed expression perfectly 
Ah... The look Kamek's giving Bowser is like, "Well? You've been putting this off for a while... It's time to take responsibility."
Alright, now I'm just going to hit a small detail about Bowser. At the point where his horns meet his head, there's this brown sort of divider that separates his head from the horn (this is also there on the spikes on shell), so the actual horn isn't connected directly to his head. I hate sounding picky like this, but I believe that you also like to have accurate details in your pictures, so if this helps you in any way I'm glad

This is really nice. I think the shading is just fine. It's funny, you have him doing "boring" kingly duties, and in my DA gallery, him and his kids are uber-glorified as royalty. Nice opposite to see.
