yay! more tf2! and i finally finished a picture of Medic!i swear, every time i draw these guys, they look different. oi. the Valve style is very distinctive, and i would LIKE to incorporate more of it when i draw the cast, but for some reason, i have problems with it. and every time i sit down to start sketching, i get inspiration for an actual piece. sooo... no practice sketching every actually gets done.
anyway, it's Medic! i love him! he and all of his sadistic Nazi-ness! i seem to have this thing for snarks, jerks, and smart people, and seeing as how Medic pretty much fits all of these criteria, he's pretty much awesomeness on a stick.
hmmm... i think i'll go start to sketching now...

Heehee, this amuses me highly. With all the bloodmongers that typically make up the TF2 fan community (that's totally me included) you don't get to see a lot of 'daily life' pictures. And this is inevitable. I'm sure RED Command is very anal about knowing how battles are going and how units are fairing, so Medic would have to get stuck with this bureaucratic nonsense often.
My only thing is his hair. You've made him look older than he's typically portrayed. I'm pretty sure his hair is brown, and the reason it seems to 'fade' around the temples is cause he keeps it real short. And, even though you have four cabinet doors, there's only two magnets. Seriously though, that's minor. I love this bunches!
I really like the burned shading on the background; it works well! Medic's rather perturbed expression is great, and, I must say, my favorite touch is the sandvich. A) it looks great B) it just goes to show that Heavy's looking after his Medic ::chuckles:: I can totally see Heavy walking in while Medic's in the middle of all this, taking one look at the poor guy, and saying, "You need sandvich."
Anyways, love it! Give me more!

Yeah, he looks to old, and that's the problem with being lazy/impatient/ADD. whenever i sit down to try and do some practice sketching with these guys, i always get inspiration for something else entirely, soooo no practive ever actually gets done.
And yes, when i was first sketching this out, the sandvich was one of the first things i did. because i'm a hopeless fangirl and not afraid to admit it. XD

anyway, while that was fan made, the TF2 universe is pretty much insane. just look at Saxton Hale! there are some HILARIOUS tf2 fanvids out there, and of course, the official "Meet The..." vids are great!

well, going from an anime style to the valve style is very hard! You just have to focus on the features, they are all very distinct and angular.

yeah, that's definitely true. but i love it! they look like MEN. not like little anime bishies. which, although bishies can be hot, trying to imagine a 15 year old sniper is just WEIRD.
