Luana is a close combat fighter. Her speciality is damage; she has incredibly huge physical strength and an extraordinary knowledge in close-range weapons.
Her fighting style though is adapted to her unique weapon and resembles more an intricate dance consisting of swirling around her weapon blocking and attacking with quick moves.

Luana uses ice-magic to support her while fighting. She can crystallize the water molecules in the atmosphere to ice, forming them to a nearly diamond-like structure. Reinforced through magic her ice layers have a nearly unbreakable formation, hard to melt away with low flames.

Ice Mantra: She can mould ice around her body to wrap herself in an ice-like shield, protecting her from most physical damages. Her Ice Mantra is dynamic and can be build up and down at high speed solidifying some parts of her more depending on what she currently needs.

Ice Touch: She can freeze objects and even body parts of her opponents by touching them numbing that body part or even freezing them on some surface like the ground, immobilizing her opponent on that place.

Ice blade: Moulding a specific amount of ice around her hand Luana can form a sharp little blade. She doesn't use this often since she normally carries her weapon with her.

Ice Field: Touching some surface (ground, wall,...) she can create spiky ice pillars that spread out of the ground in a range of 4 meters from where she stands, that may pierce her opponents. Throughout this process she must keep the contact with the surface or else the ice-pillars will vanish.

Ice Kiss: By kissing her opponent Luana can breathe an ice-breeze in them causing internal frost bites on organs, not killing the opponent but making him unable to move on and coughing up blood.

“Oceanborns were known as a seductive race, who lured land people with their beautiful voice into the sea where they eventually kissed the victim freezing her from the inside, killing her, for then peeling off her skin. Well, the skin peeling is only just a legend, but the kiss remained as one jealously secret kept skill since this would prove their race to have been some kind of cannibal. Now as mentioned before this kiss won't kill the opponent!”

Oceanborn Abilities:
Gills on the side of her throat enables her to breathe underwater, even so she has lungs to stay on land, too.
Since Oceanborn live preferably underwater they have naturally thicker skin to hold out the low temperatures in deep oceans and of course can swim extremely fast.

Weaknesses:
- As she is an ice-magic user her weakness is obviously fire. Even though normal flames can't do much against her ice-defence, a greater flame of intense heat might become troublesome for her...
- She sucks at far range weapons. She simply can't aim. It may be a bit of difficult for her to counter attack if her opponent keeps distance from her as all her skill go through the process of touching the opponent.
- She is not trained in healing magic and would most probably suck at it.
- She can't sense any kind of magic nor any kind of aura.
- Luana is way more experienced underwater than on land. Send her on underwater missions and she will be the best leader, but when it comes on land missions she just isn't used to walk around in forests.

This little tale in fact is the only 'real' description you can find about the origins of Oceanborns. No one really knows where they come from or how they even came to live on Zion, as all the scriptures with those precious informations have gone lost many years ago.
Oceanborns are like the name says born underwater and preferably live in the ocean. They have gills on the side of their throat to filtrate the oxygen out of the water enabling them to breath underwater, though they develope lungs in the first year after their birth allowing them to walk the lands like any human can. As a difference to other marine creatures Oceanborns lack a tail, instead they have fins on their arms and legs allowing them to swim smoothly and fast in the water. Their aquatic ears are more sensible underwater, but function perfectly even on land as well as their golden eyes. The iris can adapt itself according to where the Oceanborn is right now. On land the iris enlarges and shrinks and underwater it slides fore and back according to the lightning conditions.
Their skin is naturally thicker than normal skin so they can stand out the cold in the depth of the ocean. Though on land they need to use special ointments or otherwise their skin will dry out very easily especially in arid zones like deserts. So they prefer colder surroundings or very humid environment like rainforests. They need to drink a lot of water, preferably salty, when they stay for longer periods on land.
The skin of Oceanborns is a sensory organ which functions to perceive frequency vibrations and pressure differences in their surroundings underwater. They can sense if there is someone or something nearby through those sensors analizing the water movement around them, recognizing where roughly it is and they can guess how big and how far away it is.
Living underwater brings also a certain kind of diet based on alga’s, seaweed, raw fish and other things the ocean has to offer making the taste really bitter.
The race of the Oceanborn is bounded to the element of ice. Every Oceanborn can only manipulate ice in different ways. Some use it as support magic, others as healing others again as pure magic itself. Most Oceanborns though dedicate their life to fighting like stated in the little legend it is true that they are a warrior tribe and will fight for their home.
As any other water creature the Oceanborns were gifted, too, with an unearthly beautiful voice. They can't act magic through it though, but hearing an Oceanborn sing is very pleasant.

Personality:
She is rude, arrogant and proud. She'd never admit a loss or that she can't handle something.
One of her most outstanding characteristic is her short-temper, she is quickly irritable so don't test her patience. She is very straightforward and won't hesitate to say what she thinks.
Most of the time she has an impatient look on her face and an unfriendly attitude towards others, only exception is her beloved little sister and her parents,of course.

Luana was born in a loving family in Tetyth Sea. She totally loved her father, never leaving his side when he was at home and always trying to watch him at work.
Luana was an absent-minded child and not the kind to play around with other girls She rather picked up fights with the boys of her neighbourhood, mostly because they thought a girl like her could not be strong and brave enough as them. As the daughter of a blacksmith she soon learned how to wield a weapon and to defend herself. When her little sister was born she became very protective towards her, guarding her from the first moment.
She once was in love with an angel. He was a member of Caelius, but she didn't mind, since she never had interest in joining a faction. But he dared betraying her breaking her heart and that was the first time she felt pain and despair. And so her deep hatred towards Caelians was born. She detests them all and thinks of them as a handful of unfaithful liars.
After that she decided to join Earthra an threw herself in the hardest training and swore to never love or trust again, especially not angels.
When she entered the army of Earthra her father crafted her her unique Double-Sided Spear. Luana never would go anywhere without it.
Now she still in lives Tetyth Sea with her little sister and when she's not in battle she works part-time in a restaurant in Levea.
