Description This is the same piece i have in my gallery only presented in a smaller aspect ration so you can better see the whole image at once, it kinda gives you the option for how you would like to view it.

Heres a trip down memory lane for ya! If you're around my age and grew up in the best decade ever to be a kid, the 1970's, you might remember a few of these fellas.

Representing the classic Hasbro G.I. Joe Adventure Team line is bearded eagle eyed land adventurer Joe, Mike Powers the atomic man, Super Joe, the hulking Intruder and the incredibly nostalgic Bulletman, The Human Bullet. Vehicles include the classic 6 wheeled ATV and the versitile Mobile Support Vehicle.

Kenners Steve Austin, Maskatron and the Venus Probe from the Six Million Dollar Man.

Big Jim's P.A.C.K. by Mattel including Big Jim Commander, Dr. Steel, Torpedo Fist, The Whip, Warpath, Zorak the ruler of the Underworld and the sporty LAZERVETTE. Also the man who had the guts to get the job done, Pulsar the ultimate man of adventure!

I love reading comments, so leave em if ya got em!

Had most of those. Would've killed (and would still likely maim) for the Venus Probe.

I know this is an older piece, but I just found it and have to say thank you for the trip down memory lane. I indeed had every one of these dolls/action figures. My favorite vehicle was the P.A.C.K.s truck and camper!

You sir are awesome.

This is so well done. It brings back a lot of great memories, not only of my own collection as a kid, but of kids on the block and how we would mix and match across GI Joe, Bionic Man, and Big Jim. This piece is brilliant in its insight into how we created stories as kids.

I just had a rush of opening Christmas presents when I saw this! I had almost all of these guys, including the rockin' Lazervette! I think Whip had a dune buggy of sorts, too (which I'm pretty sure I had as well).

110% awesome.

Wow, the P.A.C.K. I miss them. And Steve Austin and Joe. When I see them all together like this I realize how fortunate I was that my parents got me as many as they could. I loved the LAZERVETTE! Obviously the bailout of the auto industry would have been unnecessary if they had just embraced the idea of laser cannons under the hood. Sales would be huge!

This is great Dusty! Beautiful work. I followed you over from Statue Marvels. Love your style and topics.

Best,

Crom

I love this picture. I still have Mike Powers, but none of his original clothes or his propeller. Luckily, keeping him clothed is no problem, since there is still so much G.I. Joe outfits out there.
And I have a memory of my Steve Austin enemy (Maskatron); it broke several days after I first got him! I was so upset! I never did get another one. That was one cool enemy!

They made an action figure of the Killer Venus Probe from "The Six Million Dollar Man?"

Arrrrgh! That would have been the best toy ever!

I played with my Steve Austin action figure until the feet came off pitting it against sauce pans that served as Venus Probe stand-ins! The savings in spankings alone would have made ownership of this toy worthwhile.

Must make time machine!!!
