I promised myself that I wouldn't put too much effort into this thing, and it ended up taking several months to finish. OH WELL.

I'm pretty happy with how this came out, although I had intended for him to look more like a monster and less like a generic furry. I'm still very happy with this character! None of my characters are a 1 to 1 version of myself (that would make for a very boring character lol), but I like to put bits of my personality in there. I find it easier to write for them when I have experience with what they go through. While I love Finch, a lot of her inspiration came from a very painful period of my life. I think Bastien embodies something more relevant: blind ambition.

Also, I realize that I didn't do a good job in showing what the palms of his hands look like. All of his fingers connect to a single pad of the same color, as is visible on the image in the bottom right corner. Also, his genitals are internal, and don't show from the outside (I'm uncomfortable with drawing junk lol).

EDIT: This info might be helpful to anyone who is curious Bird gods informationRouxious (roo-shus): She is bound to the moon. She is ruthless and wise. If you bring her substantial knowledge on something, you may ask her one question. She can only be seen when the moon is present.
Verem: The god of the wind and disease. He demands respect, and is known to kill those who disrespect him. He has respect for pregnant women, and is known to protect their unborn child if the mother offers him an object with sentimental value. If you win his favor, he can bring both a plague to an enemy or remove one from you. He is feared and loved. His wings make a whistling sound when he flies, and he can often seen flying in wide circles in a certain desert; a soft singing can be heard for miles. He simply states that he's trying to keep something asleep when asked what he's doing.
