A bit of a quickstart for those looking to overview the general features of Terragen 2 (technology preview.) I hope this simple tutorial helps put visuals to all the new buttons and tools!Enjoy!

Still using the demo myself, actually. I'm hoping to upgrade soon but more important things have to be paid for first.

I too am attempting the demo version but I still don't really get it all. I never have much luck with landscapes. I was using that step for step, official walkthrough or whatever. Then I stopped because it looked like poop.
If you could do a similar step for step thing it'd probably help a lot. Like a tutorial making a something simple. But goes over lots of the aspects of Terragen 2.

yeah it looks awesome, but i dunno if my crappy computer will run it. it takes ages to render the default scene, so i'm gonna try it out on my laptop, it's a lot better.

Thanks for this tutorial! I really learned alot from it. When I first saw Terragen 2 Tech Preview, I disliked it completely because I didn't know where anything was.
My first image I created from this tutorial was complete crap. But I will learn on! Hope to see more tutorials! Especially one on the image you have on the bottom!
