Now, instead of using MS Paint, I moved to a better program: Open Canvas. I went again with free hand, and worked more in the proportions.Does it look better than [link] and [link] ?
I dunno, should I continue drawing? I looked around, and saw many people dislike new artists. I think I should just give up before I get flamed for not being an awesome artist...

Hehe, nice series and message. Critique is one thing, but blatently flaming a person just because YOU think their art sucks doesn't help anything. If they're really serious about it, they'll improve with time.
Still can't help but wonder about 'the boobs'. You've done MS Paint, Open Canvas.....whats next? hand drawn on paper maybe, 3d rendering, then a morph of somone, then a live model, beofre you know it you'll run out of obtions to draw her and you'll just have to display the essence of her big breasts, just a bright harmonious light stimulating the portion of our brain that says "Wow, what a giant pair of hooters."
acutally I think Microsoft makes a program for that....

I agree. I've had to talk down a few people that have been getting mad about this kind of stuff. While I agree with them that some artists turning out sub-par works are getting an awful lot of attention, they are hopefully working on getting better. Whatever. I've never been bothered much about hits/watches/favs. If people like it, they will fav. I am faving this BTW. Who'd have ever thought the inflation community would have political cartoons?

We all had humble beginnings and some of us are still trying to get better. Heck, I'm still cell shading... Just haven't had much reason to go to photoshop. Everybody else is doing it and it'd just make my stuff look the same.

I like Photoshop. I do everything in it. It's just a good tool you an use to give diferent effects to a drawing. The final result depends how the artist makes the first part of it.

Yes, I see that it has been very beneficial to some people's work. I just really like how I shade for some reason. It does tend to make my pics very distinctive.

I get it now you've brought in a verbal clue and that there is a trail to follow up and guess upon.
Of course, you're work will be changing radically as you are already an awesome artist, and it also depends on the artist themselves as their rate of improvement changes differently. But then again, I'm over analyzing this and bringing in ill needed smudge marks on a message that kicks quite a bit of ass.
Mmm, a message which give a visual head butt to elistism...I love it!
