I made all this shizzle up when I was in Paris.. So this is my won universe and may have some religious inaccuracies.

Devils (Lets use Christian terms to keep it understandable for the most of us):
Devils are Angels that have fallen from heaven. They were caught by Lucifer who gave them the powers they have now and the ability to stay alive. This is why they must obey him, they would die otherwise. Lucifer can do this, because he's the only archangle to have ever fallen. Altough they stay mostly independant, Lucifer has sume 'rules' which they have to follow and can give them 'missions'. Devils can make their own little helpers, I'll call them pixies for clearity. Pixies look like children when in "human form" and have look alike abilities of their makers. They are the ones that cause creaking stairs when no one walk on them, tempeture drops, soft blows of wind, etc. Every devil is different and has their own 'territory' where they cause havock, they know every little detail about their territory. They can never take on a completely normal human form. They have no real homes, but 'take base' at the spot they fell.

Name: Nessie (He forgot his 'original' name through the years)
Gender: Male
Territory: Northern Britain (Normally just says Scotland)
Base: Loch Ness
True form: The Loch Ness monster, he can take on any stage between 'human' and that.
Human deformities: His hair is always whet.
Fall: In the age of the dinosaurs! He didn't actually fall out of heaven, but left out of boredom. He fell into the Loch Ness (what is was back then) and stayed there. He had no interest in humans and even didn't know of their existance till some monk tried to make him go away. Because he was the first one to fall out of heaven he isn't dependant on Lucifer. The only thing Lucifer can take from him is the ability to become 'human'.
Powers: He can influence weather. He can cause storms and droughts. He searches in folders for outside events and causes rain to come on the exact moment it takes place. Furthermore he can cause floods. Further he just likes to wreck things.

Gender: Male
Territory: Northern France and Southern Belgium (Wallonia)
Base: Paris
True form: A dark brown cat. Just like Nessie he can take on any form between cat and human.
Human deformities: Cat ears and tail, because of it he wears Trenchcoats and hats.
Fall: (Don't know exactly yet)
Powers: Master of manipulation. He talks people into making bad decisions and likes to bring 'scandals' to the open. Tongue of satin. He's also the perfect thief. And teleportation.

Name: Mordred
Gender: Male
Territory: Southern Britain
Base: Camlann (He knows where it is, but he tells no one)
True form: He actually only has one form, this one is human.
Human deformities: He has no hair, no eyelashes, no irises and no nails. These he replaces with shadows (nails are a tad trickier tough). He also makes his clothes out of shadow, hence it's all black.
Fall: He fell in the early midieval days and was very confused. His first mayor evil doing was killing king Arthur. After that he was on the roll.
Powers: He can command all shadows, make them solid. Pretty much everything. Most commonly making scary shodows for people to see. He can also disappear in one shadow and appear in the next.
