Read before you God save The Queen meGod save the queen in never recognised as the national anthem of the U.K.. They use God Save The Queen if they need one (like when football/soccer starts), but in fact they have none.
The Netherlands has the oldest national anthem. It dates back to the 80 years war, but changed a lot trough the years. It had a happy melody and had Spanish hookers in it, but now it's boring and most Dutch people can't sing more than stanza.

Jerusalem for the English anthem! Yeah it is kinda strange that the Dutch vow allegiance to the Spanish king in the song seeing how old it is xP

Well... it's rewritten a couple of times.. They say they honour the Spanish king, because the 80 years war started as a war against Alva, but the Spanish king tought it was against him and interfeared... The Dutch just wanted to get rid of a person who made their lives a hell
