I've always been fascinated by otters, and how playful they are, so I decided to paint one in action. Well, almost in action. In this image, the otter has paused in mid-slide down a slope to look around before it slides into the water under the ice.

Thanks. Yes it did take a few months, but I wasn't working on it full time. It was cooling to work on it in the summer heat.
