Personality: - Merlot is a very dramatic sort, in the courtroom. I've never seen or played Ace Attorney aside from a few anime clips, but those few clips seemed pretty accurate for reference. She'll make a big deal out of a little case, considering the fact that Red Wine Diamond doesn't generally have big cases - things such as betrayal and treason are dealt with swiftly, leaving little legal litigation to be done. Her cases generally consist of assault, complaints of harassment, shirking of duties, etcetera. Someday she longs for a big case, a time to really prove her worth as a well-cut Zircon.

Regardless, she'll collect more files than truly necessary. For a single case there will be witnesses, testimonies, alibis, records, evidence, etc. Not to mention how dramatically she presents said evidence. There's definitely flair hidden in every ruffle of her neck scarf, and it radiates off of her while she's engaged in her job.

Now, despite her courtroom confidence, Merlot Red is very...socially awkward. She's not at all afraid of interacting with gems, she just doesn't know how to do it properly. Everything is an analysis, or an interrogation. Honestly she needs to pull her head out of her ass her job long enough to learn that there's more to life than legal terminology.

History: - Merlot Red Zircon was created, as many Zircon are, to be the legal structure of the Court. Mostly a prosecutioner, she started strong, and has yet to lose a case. Admittedly, they're never very difficult cases, but that doesn't make her any less fantastic at her duties.

For thousands of years she's been doing this, running cases, and never once has her motivation and determination to prove herself as a seasoned lawyer diminished.

That's it. She has a pretty straightforward history. She has no life. Woke up, started litigating, can't stop won't stop.

All Zircons are highly intelligent; they were made to be. Duh.

Merlot always has a good, clever response for everything. She is extremely hard to trip up, unless it's about a topic unbeknownst to her such as friendship.

This is an ability because it is one that I personally do not possess and in my opinion this is at heckin superpower level.
