opps i made a sadi really need to work on anatomy though- this didn't come out like how I hoped ;
for melbert on tumblr because they made fantastic head canons wHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANON SERIOUSLY. THANKS FOR INDULGING ME IN THEM
After almost dying from GOING ON FIRE, Pit SHOULD have had some ptsd problems. I know everything was solved, but the whole trauma of the event was never addressed??? ever??? everyone just got over it really quick.
which is why i like this headcanon because it's more realistic-

Yeah, they also could work with the thems/problems of the past 2 games like: what made medusa and Palutenea turn apart, perhaps at least addressing that pit is the only angel left because of medusa, you know because she kind of committed genocide in the original Nes game, how does pit feels
About being the only angel left and the only one incapable of flying? they could also use the meta narrative and state that the number of times pit dies in the game are for real and he can feel how he is killed (something like pearl with the song do it for Her in Su after all in Chapter 20 pit complains that he has risked his life several times for her )and then make him realize that his devotion for palutenea can be a little unhealthy at times, or perhaps explore more of his character through dark pit, if he is really the feelings pit keep to himself that means that his devotion is not absolute, or they could even explore pit's origins even when he is our protagonist we don't know much about him and where he come form

I agree!! Even though the game was 25 chapters long, I feel like it needed some more to add some depth and character development- Like Palutena/Pit having to face the consequences of the chaos caused by the army in the 3 years, Dark Pit having more of an identity crisis or addressing Pit's possible new hesitation with missions or...something! There's lots of missed opportunities, hopefully they'll seize more of them if they ever make another!

If I almost died from carching on fire I will seriously have trauma issues with fire! I will scream like crazy if I saw fire! Im just considering this headcanon canon! And also what about Pitoo? If someone almost died from catching fire for saving me, I will feel guilty every time I ever see/encounter/hang out with that person and make sure they are safe at all times! How come nobody ever mentions that Pittoo feels guilt whenever he sees Pit! Come on he is not that heartless!

Completely agree there- I feel like they should have extended the duration of Pit's "death" and the Chaos Kin arc overall. Would have made it more effective? Or at least have him a bit more worried facing up to Dyntos' Phoenix replica because of the volcano-
Pittoo was also something they just brushed over! Again, extending the arc would have been a great idea. Play a few more chapters as DP, have the fountain not work or something. Would've been great for character development!
Nahh anyone I've met through KI:U says the same thing, or at least feels that he WAS guilty, and that's why he didn't wanna stick around when everything was solved.
