HELLO, THIS WAS MY WEEKEND.
I've been wanting to design each assassin’s mask for a while now, inspired by a mix of the wearable sculptures of Rein Vollenga and planetary symbols.
The symbols were actually the hardest part of the whole process and took me several months to solidify SOB. When I finally figured all of them out, I kinda went crazy with these bust shots.
In order:
Sun - Kajur, Mercury - Kye, Venus - Hiu, Moon - Chandra, Mars - Kou, Jupiter - Marduk, Saturn - Shani, Uranus - Yozu, Neptune - Sei’zin, Pluto - Yama.
Kajur doesn't have a mask since she’s the head of the Solaris organization and doesn't do assassinations. The rest are all in order of her favoritism.

Man, this is so awesome. I love how you incorporate each symbol to the masks, which also look really cool. I think my fav mask will have to Kou´s though Neptune is a close second because it´s my fav planet

I was wonder about Kye's mask. What exactly is the string bit attached to the top for?

The string at the top of Kye's mask is mainly aesthetic, but it also doubles as a weapon (throw-back to her old braid, which is commonly used to hide knives for assassination)

aaaa I love how you've incorporated the symbols into each mask design! Also it's really cool how Kajur is in white, while the rest are in black, as a way of showing her as leader.
What does the view look like from someone wearing one of those masks?
