...people were upset with this one. They wanted "aged Sean Connery" Prime...er...but the thing is that I wanted to make these doods look younger....younger and G.I. Joe like. So I made Prime kind of a "Duke" guy...with unshaven face..........because unshaven faces mean leadership......ergh.....no..that came oot wrong....x_xOptimus Prime (c) Hasbro/Takara

Also am I the only one who finds Optimus Prime just plain sexy? The voice is by far the biggest factor but then there's how wise & powereful he is... who wouldn't be attracted to him?

Cool character but I'm sorry to say he doesn't scream Optimus Prime to me. He looks too young for one & the blonde hair seems wrong. And the armor color is all wrong. But still an awesome character. Sorta makes me think of Hot Rod from the old animated Transformers movie. Nice job though!

personally i think this is a good version of prime as a human, lets face it, life as a military leader during a war can't easy so i've never really liked the young looking pretty boys that alot of people use

Thanks! I'm glad you like 'em. The human Armada characters have been in my main gallery for about four years and after a while I got tired of how "fanboy" they looked, lol. I plan to redesign them- including ones I haven't touched yet, but as much as I like these guys, I needed to put them to rest in scraps XD!

The style looks very professional, itΒ΄s very well done. About Optimus look and the age... I think that doesnΒ΄t mind, each artist draws him in a way or other, he is a machine after all and everybody have their own interpretation. The voice affects too, in USA he sounds like a middle aged man in my country, Spain, he sounds younger.

Interesting design. I can understand the people wanting the aged look. To me, his human form would be more of a John Wayne...but mostly because that's how Cullen always played his voice up.
There's absolutely no denying the amount of TALENT that went into this...no matter how one feels about Optimus in a human form. Absolutely amazing work!

i faved it cos the pic was kool . . .but since i'm a fan of the really old version . . .i always identified Prime as a 'John Wayne' type . . .and his voice was kida like it aswell . . . . .and the fact he's an oil tanker . . . and when he takes on the robot form instead of the tanker . . . . he kinda looks like a lumberjack (clicked after seeing a really old re coloured 1960's movie with lumberjacks . . . . they really talked like tat!) the blue part of his head/helmet looked like a lumberjack cap that the lumbertruckers wore in the movie . . .(the old 80's version of prime)

Yeah, unfortunately, a lot of the FF' characters I know of are either from their respective games(vaguely) or, which is pretty much the case all the time, Kingdom Hearts. Dropping names without tellin me who that person is will only confuse me XD.

This has to be the best Optimus as Human that I have ever seen! I can imagine him like that - not too old not too young.... middle aged (almost)

But I hardly see Prime as a young blonde. Hot Shot, Cheetor, or Bumblebee, yea. They more fit the new age stereotype of highspirited teens.
Prime's more like their pops.
"Bumblebee, how many times must I-- you know what? You're confined to your quarters!"

"Where's my belt?"

Definitely my man Optimus! I think he looks awesome! I do believe younger is better for these bots, because well, yeah, they do age, but I believe Optimus is still in his more youthful period ^_^

Quite personally, I really like this idea and look for a human Optimus Prime. The rugged look reminds me more of Solid Snake, but it really works well for this version of Prime. Also like the "armor" nd how you designed it to look much like his truck form.
Overall, very nice work, really like this idea, very unique.
