Description
Picture made at Beekse Bergen, a safari themed animal park in the Netherlands (It's basically a zoo, but you can also drive through it in your car). This picture struck me, because it's the perfect chimpanzee pose.Related content

WOW! IT IS A GOOD ZOO IN THE NETHERLANDS! MOST ZOOS AROUND THE WORLD ARE TURNING MORE CORRUPT! I would visit that zoo a lot if I were rich like u. I love chimps!

I'm not rich... I just have a bit of spare money for nice things.

Hey there! Thank you for submitting toΒ Β for feedback!
It's so cool to see a chimpanzee, because I have never seen one since I was a child. It's also a very nice chimpanzee portrait
Since you submitted for feedback, I have some suggestions for you:
The chimpanzee is looking at something to the right side of the picture, so you could try to leave more space to the right side and crop the left side a bit tighter in order to make the view from the chimpanzee expose better.
The other thing is I could see the barbwire in the lower area of the picture. You could try to move the camera higher to remove the barbwire from the frame, so that the full portrait of the chimpanzee can be enjoyed by viewers. Moreover, you could try to lighten the chimpanzee face a little so that people can see its face clearer.
However, this is really a beautiful shot. I especially like the pose he makes here, as well as the right moment you have taken. Well done!Β

Thanks for the feedback! Here's a small mock-up of the suggestion you made about the crop, is this what you had in mind? I also lightened it slightly, but you can't really see a difference (doing it more does, but it hurts the rest of the picture).
Yeah, the barbed wire is a pity. If I'm feeling confident I might try and edit it out. Next time I hope to give more attention to details like that.

Yes, I mean the horizontal way, but this vertical version is very well done also. If you have a chance to take this picture again, the horizontal version with the same composition is the best (in my opinion).Β
Do you have any editing program in which you could lighten only the chimpanzee's face? Because the light in this photo is very well enough

Well, I don't think I will be going back to that specific zoo anytime soon. It's a bit out of my way.
Yeah, I could give editting the face a try.
