I have a lot of future flexible planes designs in my mind, and I have to bring some of these onto the concept layout. So here it is.
It would be looks awkward on the first sight, because that's my first ever attempt to design a plane which is possessing retractable limbs and organic-like airframe flexibility. It's also the design for my upcoming near-future story involved with high-tech aerial conflict, and STARFISH is just one of them.
Actually, the design is inspired by 's planeman and 's metaphysics drawings. They are both amazing and give me a brilliant opportunity to try out the unique airplane design based on their artworks.
7 hours to finish the concept design and description with Photoshop CS6.

Have you ever seen Outlaw Star? I was always a fan of the "grappling arms" on the ship. I always wanted to design something with a similar feature... your concept is a very creative use I think. :3

Oh, I just recently find out what it is. Well, the limbs feature is just an extensional feature for my plane design firstly, but then I think it looks better when they can retract into it, so there it is.
If you have checked 's drone design, the arms and legs are actually flexible wings, and no need for additional limbs. Her design did inspired me first, but somehow I found it bit of awkward so I didn't follow what she did.

WHOOOA, this is AWESOME!! Really cool, creepy design, and I think you did a great job of integrating and meshing aspects of both my designs and turbo's...I bet she'll be pumped to see this as well!

Well, she did.
And I am designing a lot more new stuffs for fitting the universe, and thankfully I have a lot of spare time for this. You will be surprised to see more updates.
