That's why I switched to MMD heads. Daz anime heads are just not good enough.

Ciuch tak. Szkoda tylko że z mordy wygląda jak szczeżuja. Głowię się teraz jak by przenieść model głowy z MMD do Daza i umocować do Genesis.

question, why use adobe animation? i do not think it allows you to import models or used it to make bones and/or animation in models.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dzonatan In reply to bigattck [2017-04-10 04:39:25 +0000 UTC]

The only use I have for it adobe animate is to create Gif/SWF animations out of PNG image sequences.
DAZ3D only allow to render as still single image, image sequence or AVI.
I found that making GIF/SWF animations manually by putting together image sequences retain the most quality.
I had to settle for GIF this time because when I tried to publish it as SWF the adobe animate would crash at 80%.

Turns out GIF aint so bad as I thought it would be because the image quality is still good and the thumbnail fluidity is the best of all I had up untill now.

Dzonatan In reply to Linkqwer [2017-04-09 20:16:42 +0000 UTC]

I cant think of few things:

- Textures
- Body proportions
- Body shape
- Eyelashes
- Eye Textures
- Teeth
- General facial expressions

The little things that most dont notice but drive the guy who made it insane because he sees them up in his face all the time.

I felt like trying out animation just to see how long would draping take in MD and how physics would act. So far it looks alright.

I want to create a skirt like this (below, right side), but how do you keep the shape in MD? If I make it hard, it gets flat, and if I make it soft, it droops. Did you make it in MD?

Dzonatan In reply to ken1171 [2017-04-10 04:32:22 +0000 UTC]

Those are fitted clothes in DAZ3D

ken1171 In reply to Dzonatan [2017-04-10 04:46:08 +0000 UTC]

I know - the question is if it can be done in MD.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dzonatan In reply to ken1171 [2017-04-10 04:59:31 +0000 UTC]

It should be possible. Someone did in fact made something similiar here:

ken1171 In reply to Dzonatan [2017-04-10 05:52:30 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, it doesn't look quite right. I think it has to be modeled elsewhere, at least the base part of the skirt, and then perhaps import as OBJ and continue in MD.

Dzonatan In reply to ken1171 [2017-04-10 14:31:49 +0000 UTC]

MD isnt for anime-esque clothes after all. I still think it's possible. It just that it would require ton of unusual settings.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ken1171 In reply to Dzonatan [2017-04-10 15:46:00 +0000 UTC]

I think it might work if we create the skirt base elsewhere, and then use it to support the shape for the rest of the dress. If such dress would exist in the real world, it would have to have some kind of support frame underneath to hold its shape at the base.

Dzonatan In reply to ken1171 [2017-04-25 10:21:30 +0000 UTC]

Just like to tell you that I figured out how to make skirts floaty in MD. The trick is to create small patches of material which on sew it as a new layer. Then you set the preasure slightly to lift it up a little. You'll be able to see the effect on Daiyosei which I'll finish today.

Dzonatan In reply to ken1171 [2017-04-26 08:29:34 +0000 UTC]

I deleted old project file but I'll show you on this new one. This is your regular skirt with a stripe layer:
imgur.com/a/CkZrN

however if you select the stripe pattern and increase its preassure you get this:
imgur.com/a/FbEQo

You get this skirt uplift typical for gravity defying anime clothes.

Thanks for the info! I wonder if that would be sturdy enough to keep a skirt shape. Have to give it try and find out. ^^
