Finally done it. Here is a complete sprite sheet of Sally Acorn for the Genesis/Megadrive games. Covers Sonic 1 to 3+K and then some. My experience for 2 and 3K is limited so my apologies if some are inaccurate.Related content

Plot
After Sonic the Hedgehog's victory against Dr. Eggman in the Final Zone, a group of Freedom Fighters banded together to retake Westside Island and restore King Acorn to power, inspired by Sonic's heroism. Join the quest to defeat the evil Dr. Eggman!

Gameplay
The gameplay is a mixture of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic Advance 3, with the graphics of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Sonic and the Freedom Fighters requires the player to select a playable character and a partner character to assist them.
Character team actions
Sonic - Uses a super charged dash
Only having Sonic as a partner (or being Sonic) will let the player enter Boost Mode.
Tails - A super high jump aided by Tails.
Tails can fly around while holding his partner just like in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.
Sally - Very agile, being cable of acrobatic manoeuvres, basic combat, hand-to-hand combat, and high reflexes. (Basically same animations as 'Sally in Sonic the Hedgehog' hack)
Uses NICOLE to zap enemies.
Bunnie - Various upgrades including the powers of flight, stretchable arms and legs, 8 direction punch, lasers from her cannon or directly from the palm of her hand and green shield from the palm of her hand. 2.bp.blogspot.com/-Uv2yQXc75ZU… (Basically same animations as 'Bunnie in Sonic the Hedgehog' hack)
Flies forward with her partner riding on her back.
Antoine - Uses his sword to slash enemies
A Spin Blade Slash Attack, slashing any opponents he's heading towards. vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/s…
Rotor - Fights with hand-to-hand combat or utilising artillery weapons.
Strongest swimmer, capable of moving at high speeds and producing a powerful attack known as the Drill Rush.
Character partner effects
Anyone partnered with Sonic or Sally makes a speed team, anyone except Sonic partnered with Rotor makes a power team and any combination of the remaining three (Tails, Bunnie, Antoine) makes a flying team.

I know. That's why I'm hoping someone out there could make a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hack of the Freedom Fighters in the Classic Era in the Post-SGW/Game timeline. That could make our dreams a reality. Except it's in the Post-Archie/Game universe in the past. Let's hope that someone out there can make our dream come true. I already have sprites ready for them. Yeah, I think Project Sonic 2017 is the perfect tone to bring the Archie and SATAM characters into the games, but that is also a dream.
