Finally done it. Here is a complete sprite sheet of Sally Acorn for the Genesis/Megadrive games. Covers Sonic 1 to 3+K and then some. My experience for 2 and 3K is limited so my apologies if some are inaccurate.Related content

I was thinking about doing Sally sprites, but I think I get stuck on the move sets that would be more reflective of her nature oriented abilities/gameplay. Is there anything you can use to check the animation? Maybe if I think of some move sets would it be ok to expand on this? If not that's ok too. Nice that you gave her that orangish tin too.

Wow, these look amazing! Pink Sally looks a little washed-out with the purply-tint to her hair, but otherwise, the rest looks great!

What I meant was that maybe she should stay out of the game-verse. Her character is more unique and grown-ups would most likely not approve that of how little clothing she wears. To anyone who reads this, I DO NOT hate Sally, I just find her unique.

So what if it was when she was young? Redesigning characters isn't new, Amy doesn't look like her original manga counterpart and neither does Charmy Bee. I don't mind Sally as a comic character either, I just don't see what's wrong with her being a game character. So long as the way Archie writes romance isn't included I wouldn't be bothered.

Sally has had many designs changes. Blonde, black, to redhead. They would avoid redesigning her as her current look has been the standard for years. If we take her into the game, we'll have to take in much of Archie cast.

You're talking about a company who had no problem redesigning Amy twice after years of separate standards, as well as Eggman and Sonic. I doubt they'll care. And its not like the book's fandom has expressed objections to her being given clothes. Also putting Sally in a game doesn't mean the entire comic or even much of it. Adding Amy and Charmy from the Sonic manga didn't mean adding the entire book's cast.

Which makes characters like "Cindy Bear" from Yogi or "Miss Bianca" from Rescuers that more baffling. Cartoon animals generally aren't drawn with sexual characteristics, and therefor clothes don't really matter because there is nothing to hide... otherwise every cartoon ought to be fully dressed, male or female...
