I stared at my computer screen for about 15 minutes, trying to put into words exactly what I love about this piece. And I'm speechless, which almost never happens.
Wickedly. awesome.

Doesn't it suck that you only get like a 1/500 comment/fav ratio? Especially on something as conceptual as this. There's so many things that are to be said about this piece -- it can be interpreted in so many different ways. For me, this art represents the pain of confusion and chaos and how it can tear someone apart, even if they're the one causing it. The choice of colors implies a natural, yet slightly sinister feel, like something we know well is changing for the worse. Where's it coming from, and what's it doing?

Thanks for this 'constructive' comment, I enjoy reading such..and see the other's interpretation.

Wow, there is so much I would like to say about this piece, but honestly, I can barely think of the words to describe my feelings for this wonderful piece of artwork. When I first saw this piece I thought, "why is this not a bigger deviation?" I would love to have seen the details in this work, it is captivating. I absoutly love variations of geometric shapes and lines, cubism, expressionism, bauhaus. Your ability to create illusions of shapes with the concept of line is ingenius. The tonal control in this painting adds alot to the mood as well. Was this for a class? A comission? Did you do it for yourself and if so, why? I am indeed, intrugued.

Thanks for having taken the time to comment, all my paintings posted on deviant are done for myself only, ..done for the pleasure of spontaneous retranscription of a blurred thought, also the pleasure for looking at my own paintings and re-find myself when i stare at it. I used to like more 'technical' ways of drawing before, but now i try to forget those technique to try something more 'raw' or conceptual, and mixing it with my own music makes me enjoy what i do..this sound maybe selfish, but nevermind ; ) If you want to see a largest version, send me your e-mail by note and i'll take a larger photo of the original. ++

Wonderful, I do believe more people should take the time to comment on something that really impresses them, because as a young, fresh artist I truely enjoy receiving thorough or meaningful critiques from people who view my art. It lets me know that I created something that captivated someones interest enough to want to express there honest opinions about it. And knowing that you did this for youself out of your own inspiration and enjoyment makes this piece all the more wonderful. I believe an artist is truely their most successful when they give birth to a piece after reaching out to find something new and fresh, and finding a way to combine it with their own interperatation of what art is to them. I believe that you were successful with this work here.
