btw, Itachi is prolly gonna get cremated. But for the sake of plot, Sasuke takes his specially preserved body (Madara (C)) and buries it with other Konoha heroes.
As for Naruto's question, the 'now' refers to the same day of the mass funeral held for Konoha's dead war heroes (4th Ninja War)...It's like a slap in the face of Konoha that Sasuke shows up so boldly.

One thing I learned is to avoid the ships heh
I'm OK with all of them (except NaruHina) but
I don't want to overlay it on the doujinshi.
After all a solid story is not one that needs
cheesy romance moments.
That said, I'm a sucker for SasuNaruSakuSasu
