Description
Conceptual art based on the Hanna Barbera movie The Flintstones: Hollyrock A Bye Baby and a rumor that Seth MacFarlane was chosen to revamp The Flintstones.I think the classics should not be redone. If Warner Brothers goes on with it I would restart with the new family Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles made.
For the look I wanted to keep the twins with the stereotypical pink for girls and blue for boys colors, but gave them a pet bird instead of the usual cat or dog.Β
Made Pebbles look more like her mother Wilma, in similar dress with the spots of her dad's clothes.
Bamm-Bamm wears his father, Barney, clothes colors and a necklace similar to the one his mother Betty wears.

If Warner Brothers (they own the entire Hanna-Barbera catalog of cartoons) is going to reboot the Flintstones, this is the way to go.

That was from the past, now they don't reboot and make Flintstones anymore, new cartoon shows like O.K. KO Let's Be Heroes, Apple & Onion, Summer Camp Island, Running Man Animation, Craig of the Creek, Powerpuff Girls 2017 Reboot and many more

How does this idea sound for a Scooby-Doo! Next Generation series?
Fred and Daphne's son Frank solves mysteries with Shaggy and Velma's identical twin 16 year old daughters Mindy and Nicole and son Casey.
17 year old Frank takes after Fred in almost every way, looks and personality. He is tall and athletic with blue eyes and reddish blond hair. Typically his attire consists of a blue shirt with a purple collar and a green ascot and blue jeans. He has his father's love of traps which he developed at a very young age using that skill to capture himself his first pet, a rabbit. Traits he inherited from Daphne include his unbridled optimism, his devotion to his girlfriend (Mindy) and the ability to comfort others.Mindy and Frank are madly in love with each other. Wherever one is the other is never far behind.
Mindy is an amalgam of both Shaggy and Velma, as is Nicole. Identical in almost every way, the Rogers twins have both inherited their mother's genius intellect as well as their father's appetite and cowardice. There are of course a few differences.
Mindy like her mother is quiet, analytical and snarky. Having been taught how to hack by Velma from an early age, she can access any internet database on earth without leaving a trace. Having inherited Shaggy's appetite, she like Nicole is always seen with large amounts of food. Unlike her sister however she has inherited Shaggy's metabolism as well. Like her mother she is five feet four inches tall and weighs 110 lbs. Her usual wardrobe consists of a green turtleneck with orange sleeves, a green pea coat, and brown jeans. Like their mother Mindy and Nicole have vivid green eyes and brown hair and wear glasses.Β
Nicole like her father is goofy and clowning as a way of coping with her cowardice. While her sister learned how to hack, Nicole learned the art of disguise from Shaggy. Having not inherited her father's metabolism to temper her appetite, she is quite fat at almost 400 lbs. Despite her weight, she like her sister and mother is quite attractive and is quite agile. She is usually seen wearing a white blouse with a green sleeveless crop-top sweater and brown jeans. She like her father and sister is a talented cook. She is usually seen with her younger brother who looks and actsΒ exactlyΒ like their father and Scooby's granddaughter Scoutie-Doo.
15 year old Casey is slightly braver than his father but ultimately is still a coward.
The original gang can never resist joining in on their kids' fun either. Shaggy now works as a successful cartoonist and provides his son and daughters with advice on evading danger. Velma now works in the local crime lab and is usually willing to analyze whatever clues Mindy brings her way. She has also written two series of popular mystery novels one by herself and the other with Daphne. Season one would have her be pregnant with a fourth, fifth and sixth child. Fred is of course ecstatic that his son has picked up his interest in traps and often helps him improve upon his skill. Now an investigative reporter Daphne is often able to provide the kids with new leads in many cases. That is when she's not busy running the many businesses that have made her a multi-quadrillionairess.
Madelyn is now the most in-demand stage magician in the USA. Her 15 year old twin daughters are shy fashion designer and filmmaker Mikayla Dinkley and hyperactive Danica.Β

Thank you very much.
I just hope he doesn't get to do them. He'd ruin a classic.
I wish I could pitch the idea to Warner Brothers. But these days when their animated shows don't make enough money as toys and other merchandise they're quickly pulled off the air. Is what happened to the superhero show Young Justice. The show was really aimed at teen and young adults, but all the merchandise was made for the little ones.

I think the sense of quality has left most of the entertainment field.
But you do have a nice Idea!
Seth was pulled from the Flintstones project some time back. Thank God. He does not do good work and would have destroyed the Flintstones, like J. J. has tried to do with Star Trek.

Animation-wise if the shows toys don't sell it gets pulled off, that's the current policy of Disney, WB, and many other major companies.
Don't get me started on Star Trek. Paramount was a hypocrite corporation getting rid of all the props, costumes etc. on that huge auction, at least the items are in hands of the real fans. Although the new movies have some minor merit I don't like them, they dragged Roddenberry's vision and original concept to the floor. There was NOTHING original about them.

You have hit the nail on the head. J.J. actually asked Paramount to stop selling anything of Star Trek that wasn't of his vision. Of all the Balls (pardon my language)
The only thing I liked from the new star trek is the warp effect. THe ships disapear instead of get long and drawn out like in TNG.
But a special effect doesn't cut it. I just can't stand the new films at all. Even the ship is ugly.
All of my art is based in the TWOK movies. They had great Uniforms.

Makes me wonder what he has in store for Star Wars. I know it'll be the passing of the torch from one generation to another. The galaxy far far away still has many more stories to tell but we no longer have new worlds and civilizations to explore.
My favorite uniforms are the ones from The Motion Pictures (pajama party) and the various seasons of TNG.

Well one thing is for sure, it will never be the same again! I don't think I will see it. But who could with all the glare effects?
The first Motion Picture uniforms do look like pajamas, and the same with TNG. We had stricter dress codes in school.
I never took a real liking to TNG or DS9.Β Oddly enough I did like Voyager. In some cases Captain Janeway was similar to Kirk.
By the way did you ever see the cartoon on the web called Stone trekking? It's like Star Trek and the Flintstones combined.

Due to financial and transportation issues I haven't been to the movies in years I doubt that I''ll go see it. But from the promos I feel it will be almost the same revolution as it was back in 1977.
I really liked those pajamas uniforms. I don't know what was it on the fit of the ones from TNG, but did you notice Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes pulling their tops almost all the time!
I enjoyed Voyager a lot, sadly I missed like 4 seasons of it because it made the change to the new UPN network that got Β gobbled up by CBS and became the CW. By then the show had ended, I had a friend in Florida who taped many shows from the last season for me so I could see them, including the finale, bless her heart.
Someone else sent me a link to one of those before, they're so goofy, but I've done my share of "Flintstoning" popular characters:Β Jem Flintstone Styled Holograms
Bativillanos Picapiedras Flintstones Batvillains

No, I think that I will not see it also, because of the same reasons. Things are tight here!
Yes I have noticed how Johnathan Frakes and Picard always seemed uncomfortable in their uniforms. Must have ridden up a lot during shooting.
I did manage to get the Voyager Series on Amazon. They have used DVD's in great condition, and theyΒ are less expensive. But at least you got to see the great finale.
I love the Batman villains in Bedrock. Very imaginative!

These days I watch movies, free on line atΒ www.cuevana2.tv/ the site was recommended by a friend here and it has been a great treat!
Oh you can always see them tugging down their shirts all the time in almost every other episodes, mostly bridge scenes, they were hardly edited.
I buy most of my DVDs on amazon, Blurays these days, I was lucky enough to buy a region free one SONY brand, that play ANY DVD or Bluray from ANYWHERE! I bought on amazon the Borg fan package, for $12.00 LOVED it, scares me but love it.
Thanks I spent a great deal of my childhood on front of the TV almost every weekday afternoon, what you seen then tends to stay with you for the rest of your life, specially if one enjoys it so much.
Sorry for not answering earlier.

Oh I found the Flintstones on the rocks that can be downloaded 960x720.mp4
At:
cartoons8.tv/watch/11904/the-flintstones-on-the-rocks-2001/hd-720p?qlt=960x720
I just bookmarked the link you provided and will have to check it out.
Yes Amazon is great. I recommend it to all my friends. I have a wish list, and anything I find I add and in time i can see the price of the used go down enough that I may buy it.
I have not found a region free DVD/Blu-Ray, but honestly, I have not had the money to look either.
Yes, I had spent a lot of time when young watching all the good shows they had. They don't have to much I would care to watch now. Although my sister told me about "once upon a time".
I found it at:
www.watch-tvseries.net/
I used to love the Saturday morning cartoons they had on back then. During the weekdays it was the Flintstones, the Munsters and the Jetsons, along with Star Trek of course. Back then they knew how to do things.
It's all right, you got busy!

Thanks for the link, but seems the movie cannot be downloaded only seen there. But I'll add the link to my favorites so thank you so much for it I love that movie!
I've been watching Once Upon A Time since the show began about 3 or 4 years ago (OMG! has it been that long already?!). Is heavily based on the Disney versions of most fairy tales but have twists of their own and is more PG and PG-13 than Disney, though lately they are gearing towards a female audience too many princesses things, ugh!Β Β
I purchased my region free BlueRay player on line at this store:Β www.world-import.com/ and it plays just about any disk from anywhere! It certainly brigs out the sound on CDs better than other players I've had.
Today's cartoons have to make a profit on the toy and merchandise market otherwise the networks and other business related affairs and people drop them old worthless news. Yes sadly this leads to less than higher quality in stories and development as they did in those days.

Oh, I'm sorry. I use Firefox as a browser. I have an add on that lets me download things. I have tried to e-mail the movie directly to you, but att won't allow a file that large to be sent.Β Β Β Β At least you can watch it. And your welcome.Β
Yes, those whole Princess only stuff does get to be much. However I still liked it compared to some of the things my sister watches.
I have bookmarked the link you sent, when I actually have money I will look into something else. Things are so tight financially, it hard to breath.
Sadly good cartoons are no more. Your right, it is all about merchandising. I remember all the things we used to get that I don't have anymore from the Flintstones era! dolls, plates, comics. They were so very fun. My Grandfather once was using concrete in the back yard for something when I was young. He showed me how to use it and I made a small Flintstones town by the rose bushes. I never had so much fun with so little. Sometimes I would love to turn back time!Β
I'm still working on you image, I think I have to e-mail you the undone version to see if I'm getting it correct. If you could tell me yes or no, I can get on to finish it. Β

Maybe some day Warner Brothers will release the DVD, oh well, if you saw it watch it again there are so many adult jokes and gags on it! And that beautiful clay animation sequence too!
I can relate with the money situation. I've been out for regular work for many years now. I freelance my services, but most people here want everything for free. At least I have a home to live in for now. I bought the BluRay player last year with some money from art job.
I miss some of the toys of my era too (1970s) especially my Fisher Price Little People, so DIFFERENT from today's and the Mego superheroes.
That must have been so much fun to create!
Take your time with the image, no hurries.

Yes it would be nice if they released it.Β When I stop wanting something is when the release it.
Oh money is so tight. I heard on the news that the economy is getting better.....WHERE!! Mars maybe, but not here.
I got a Blu Ray player last year, but it has stopped working for some reason.Β They don't fix things for cheap either. So I will scrimp and save and get another some year.
I wish I had saved some of the things from the past. I don't think I ever grew up! I have seen some of the junk they have out today, it awful. And the parents by there children those video games. I haven't seen one child turn out right because of those things.
If we did not have something, we used our imagination. I like those days better.
