Description My girl Jen T and her sweet kitten Bella. I had the honour of meeting Bella in March at Jen's home in Michigan. She was much too small and tired for her age due to liver problems. Jen continually sought help to bring happy little Bella to good health, and it seemed to be working until her kidneys failed and she was put to sleep. Though her time was far too short, Bella left funny-shaped paw prints on all our hearts. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever.

Two days ago, my husband and I also said goodbye to Croky, his cat of 17 years. We still have two wonderful kittehs, but Croky was special, and we'll miss her dearly.

I know this has happened some time ago but I still wanna send my condolences. I lost my little boy Stuart a little over 2 years ago. I still miss n think about him daily. He was a abandoned stray but he started coming over to visit. I ended up adopting him after he came to me injured. Then I knew I meant to take care of him. He had FIV but still lived with me for 7 years. I am just lucky he found me

My condolences. I know the feeling of paw-prints. For me it was Berry and Lil Bit. Both missed all the time. Both with very distinct personalities.

Ouch ! My God just last night I as looking through old photos and found pics of our beloved cat, Rocket. She was very old and we had found her in the bushes basically dying after her house had burned down. We are not sure to this day about the fate of the owners but the car had gone semi feral and we tamed her, fed her, gave her lots of affection and eventually she followed us home and became the most charming, interactive, loving, affectionate and adorable cat ever. She was ancient but spent nearly 2 wonderful years with us until a brain tumor forced her to be put to sleep. I am still heart broken daily. They are wonderful, special, and beautiful beings !

So sorry to hear about your loss = (

Thank you. That's a lovely story, I'm glad you gave Rocket such a happy finish to her life. One of our remaining cats was abandoned and since adopting us has become the most affectionate towards everyone, he seems so thankful on a daily basis.

I don't know when I'll get to L.A., but hopefully we can meet when I'm there next.

You are welcome ! Rocket was a lovely kitty and is sorely missed, she really made our lives that much better and her presence brought out the best in both of us. She really showed us the people were were capable of being. Cats and animals in general are magical that way. If you learn to listen to them the right way there really is alot they can tell you.

I would love to meet you and to work with you. I will be honest that your work has been one of the greatest inspirations to me since I first came here to DA. Meeting you would be a privilege !

... they say that eyes don't see a figure 'nude', if it has something more than what meets the eye... the title of this artwork, the description the artist has given and with utmost respect to the art, the 'ethical sense' of the picture is something that I've not seen in 'emotive nude art' for a very (very) long time...

... I myself love cats a lot, and the whole sense of losing one has been portrayed in such a subtle manner in this picture that I can hardly bring out 'words' to express them... you've done an exquisite work e-string, and I can't help myself but admire every word that you've written in the description as I contrast it with the picture...

... this is just too perfect... well done! I too bid "Rest in Peace" to Bella!

Thank you... I didn't expect such a lovely response. I'm glad that this photo holds some meaning to people other than those who knew these particular furry characters.
