It's been so long since I even come here to dA I honestly don't know why that is... I've been doing commissions, most of which I can't or just don't want to post, not that they aren't lovely or wouldn't be worth to show, but I just feel my gallery would become a bit dull consisting only of all sorts of family pictures, all of them very uncreatively named "Commission". And besides while I was working on those, I trapped myself artistically again... When drawing becomes work, after a while I just don't feel like I want to spend my free time with that too. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy doing commissioned works too, but I need to be "hit hard" by inspiration from time to time to remind myself why I chose to be an artist I think that lack of inspiration was what was keeping me away from dA to, which is silly, because if anything this place is a fantastic source of inspiration.

This brilliant album of this kazakh eagle hunter girl, Ashol Pan (by Asher Svidensky) www.dailymail.co.uk/news/artic… and this particular picture i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/0… was that slap of inspiration for me, when after a long time I felt, no matter what I ought to do at the moment, I must draw this
And this time instead of meticulous hyperrealism I attempted to rather convey their story and connection. I don't know how much I succeeded, but I like birds expression nonetheless, so I'm quite happy with this

So anyway I'm here again and want to stay. Hello old friends and new friends! I know there'd be plenty to catch up with, but the 5000+ deviation and 600+ journal was just too overwhelming, so I rather start tabula rasa and try to follow what's going on here from now on.
