Sort of a sequel to earldense.deviantart.com/art/L⦠, I guess. Not really.These are updated versions of very old characters from a silent short film I wanted to do but never attempted.

Are they barn owls or they Β are another species?

These were more concepts and I didn't try to base them off any specific breed, but the full-fledged characters that these became are an African Grass Owl (sta.sh/016k4zljhz3p ) and the African subspecies of Common Barn Owl (sta.sh/0pjpk18j0gk ).

In this version they don't have names, recently I've updated their designs and called them Elita and Vala.

Gah, these two are awesome! You kill me with all of these neat characters, I bet that film would be great.
The first two drawings of their individual under-feather body anatomy makes me really happy for some reason. So much thought.
