Equestria Daily's 2019 Artist Training Grounds, Day 21

"Draw a refreshed pony / Draw a pony on holiday."

Alright, so I got home from work and saw this: fav.me/ddbwhvh from

Out of sheer excitement, I drew the same area, but from my direction and earlier in the day. Call it a prequel; it is midday here and the events in his pic will occur at sunset.

I tried something different with the whole "crayon" thing. I placed more layers devoted to certain colors, so I could "color" and shade without fear of crossing lines. Took slightly longer, but I think it looks much better than what I hd been doing.

The OC in the chair is Beauty Leaf, who belongs to a friend of Lizard, but who does not appear to be on DA. Correct me if I'm wrong though...
