All the info you probably need on Fractal. And more.A few FAQs on Fractal:
-What's up with the cracks on her skin? Do they show up more when angry?
-Fractal's ability the change her density is constantly subconsciously active, this results in ever forming and healing cracks on her skin. There are indeed more cracks when she's angry or experiencing most any other strong emotion.
-Can we get a little bit more on her personality?
-Certainly. Fractal is cold, calculative, manipulative, sadistic, and of course efficient. That's not to say she doesn't have her evil villain moments of monologueing or horrible cackle-fest. She considers the Spire her father and benefactor and will do everything in her power to serve it as best she can. While she is cool and collected in most cased, she's also used to thousands of years of things largely going her way. If a problem occurs, odds are she has a decent solution, but if she doesn't know how to handle it, she'll get flustered. She's the type to blame someone else when things go wrong.

A good form of evil, almost at the top. I would say 3rd set evil. Ruthless, calculating, practical a demon, but almost childish. Not without reason, when you live with/inside your "father" you cannot be expected to not have a chip on your shoulder. That and eons of work would make anyone stressed. Dangerous in her own right too.

Wow I have an OC similar this! I'll have to try and enter, even if it ends up being a spectator entry I'd like to see how they'd interact. For race I put Solid State Program.

I have a question about those veins, or cracks, or whatever they are on Fractal's skin. They seem to just randomly appear on her. What's the deal with that?
Also, would Fractal be the kind to act nice around, say, a kid who's a contestant? Like would she go: "Well, you see, little one..." or more like "Hubb, get this brat out of my face!"? Frankly, I'm torn between using her or Hubb in my audition.

She can change density, and is often subconsciously doing so on a minor level. The cracks in her skin appear and heal pretty much every time she moves. More cracks show up when she's angry.
I can see her acting either way. If she was particularly interested in the child she'd be nice to them, if they were more of a contestant she saw as fodder she'd not care.

Hmm...would you say that she enjoys seeing the pain of others, or that she desires to see battle within the Spire's arena? What I'm really trying to ask is what Fractal desires/needs.

She can enjoy seeing pain and torment, yes. Being robotic in most ways it's fascinating to her, really.
Other desire and need notes:
She needs no food, sleep, air, etc.
She has no actual sexual desire but is not against seduction as just another form of manipulation.
Basically her goal is shared with the Spire. She's calculative and treacherous in her means of serving the Spire as best as possible.

Just wondering if it was possible for Fractal to smoke..... I'd love to feature her smoking in my audition comic. She seems the type. Kinda like Cruella De Ville.

I have a few questions, about Fractal and the spire it's self.
You said the spire can be in more then one dimension at once. Does this mean the spire can
attack multiple worlds through multiple dimensions
all at once? If so, what happens if one of them is destroyed? Do they all get destroyed?
If not, what happens to Fractal, wouldn't one of the spire's destruction feel like dying on some level?

There is one Spire (well, arguably there are more what with timelines but two Spires have never encountered each other).
It can occupy the same space in more than one dimension at a time, but it remains singular. This means that the Spire in more vulnerable to attack and has to spread its resources over a larger area for the more dimensions it occupies.
This also means of course that yes, if one is destroyed, all are destroyed.

Okay, thanks that helps a lot. One more question. How damaged am I allowed to make the spire during the audition? As I wanted it to under go a lot of fire from a defense fleet.

Well, not to be a god mod, but the Spire is supposed to be really damned powerful/ near indestructible when faced against most mortal weapons. The idea of the setting is sorta defeated if it can even be badly damaged. It's plausible that such an old/ advanced ship that borders on the realm of magic would have defenses beyond shields and armor.
It's safe to assume you can not damage it to the point where the crew would worry or Fractal would convulse in major pain. Minor damage that doesn't mess much with its overall functionality is fine.
