Well since I'm feeling a little whimsical today, here is page 23! I'm not starting back up regularly just yet. Give me a little more time ;D Anyway, this page is much better than my first attempt at it. The backgrounds still suck but they get the job done ^^" Enjoy!Shadowmist frowned at the trio of apprentices, "You need to start acting like it."
The light gray she cat with darker spots on her belly added in her own announcement, "So we are sending you on your own to hunt today."
Owlpaw's eyes widened a bit, a mix of fear and surprise filling her eyes, "All by ourselves?"
The calico mentor's face pulled a sarcastic and unimpressed look, "Unless you don't think you can do it."
All three apprentices, despite Owlpaw's fear, answered together, "We can do it!"

Your expressions on this page are really nice and detailed! I especially love the 4th panel- it makes me laugh because that's my usual expression. Owlpaw's innocence is adorable.

As usual, I love the expressions, and the backgrounds are serving their purpose! When drawing a comic, you want the background to say where the characters are, but not take away from tehhe art and the story. So yes. This is an epic page.

Hehe! Thank you so much! XD Im really glad you like it! The calico was fun to do and yet I had to redraw her like 15 times to get the expression right and I still think she looks a tad weird :/

Dang, 15....XD But I know what you mean! That happens to me a lot too. I have to keep redrawing a certain expression until it looks right. XD But there's nothing wrong with that~ Cause it's good practice, and when we do get it right, we (somewhat) have one of those "Oooooh, so that's what I needed to do to make it look like that!" moments. X3 Which then helps when we want to draw the expression again in the future~

This is pretty nice, especially the backgrounds, but the cats look kind of like they have human faces. I think it might be that the jawline doesn't look especially feline- they just look fleshy, especially with how the mouths are a bit strangely-placed- especially in the third and fourth panels, where although you're meant to be viewing the cat from the front, the mouths are shaped like "U" s.
Overall though, you have a nice grasp on feline anatomy. I probably couldn't quite get some of those body angles as nicely as you have here.

I appreciate the time you took to point out the major flaws that I have with my art style ^^" I do make the jaws on my cats a tad bit larger than cats actually have and they are intended to look human mostly for the convenience it provides while making this comic ;D From panel to panel I try to keep things consistent in the relatively short amount of time I have to put them up. I have had numerous people comment on how the human-ish faces look strange but I find that it helps the audience relate to the characters despite them looking less cat like. Human-ish faces help with human expressions that can't be conveyed on a cat's face without the aid of personification. However I do know that I tend to take that a little far ;D My average artwork tends to look a little different. This style is mainly used for this comic and mostly due to the ease it brings me. I don't intend on progressing rapidly since I tend to be stubborn that way ;D
