Description
I told myself "Sit down and start drawing men". So I sat down, picked up the pencil... and drew another woman.Well, at least she looks good.

That description is perfect
And I say she looks pretty friendly
The background seems sort of realistic in comparison

I find them easier to draw than women, strangely.
Prolly cause they're so much easier to look at

Everyone seems to favor a gender when it comes to drawing.

I guess it has to do with whatever you started drawing with. I always used female models. Its easy getting perspectives if you take pictures in the mirror. ^^'

Where'd you learn that? Very interesting...!

Learn about? How to get perspectives or the observation about why people draw the way they do?

Well, for the mirror... I mostly use it for hands now. While there are so many hand references out there, it can take too long to find them and manipulate them to fit it.
The observation comes from talking to people. Typically, they mention what they are best at drawing, whether it is dogs, men, women, and cats, and they will mention if they have been drawing that particular one for a while.

Hands are tricky, yes. All of the skeletal anatomy training I've had is even still near useless to me that way D:
Well, I should have thought of that. :I
After all, I contributed to that research.

I'm glad you like it. ^^
I know her hair was supposed to be curly, but I just can't pull that off yet.

It's no trouble. XDĀ I was actually going for a look almost like clouds, since it resembles Nia's hair from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.Ā That's.... trying, to pull off, to say the least. XD
