Goddess of Spices - for the Buford Highway Farmer's Market (a world famous gourmet grocer) in Atlanta, GA.MODEL: Various
PLATFORM: PC and Mac
TOOLS: Two Wacom tablets (Intuos 3 and Cintiq 21UX)
PROGRAM: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
EFFECTS: I don't use any 'effects'. In Illustrator I use simple strokes and Brush strokes, gradients and gradient meshes, and many many objects with varying transparency settings. In Photoshop I paint, often using the semi-transparent settings and glaze in the traditional neo-classic technique.

I couldn't see the whole title at first so I thought it was the goddess of wind. Mostly because of the aroma texture, but also because i associate the color orange with the elelement of wind.

I have to a agree with ladydove 7, your palette is amazing! The warm colors really bring this out and make everything else just pop in your face. I also like the effects of the smoke. Did you use a model at all? I would compliment the Art Noveau background but frankly, I'm just too floored by it to even do justice to describe how much I love it!!

And then I want to see the movie, Mistress of Spices, all over again! This is beautiful. I love the warm colors and I can almost smell the red chili and curry. Mmm yum!
