Description
Semo, from the Minnesota Zoo, was popping up to look around at everything before DIP started. He is such a personality and he doesn't look like any dolphin in the park!Taken at the Marine Research Center at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom on 10/13/12.

I love Semo. <3 He was always the coolest looking. He was the darkest grey and had rake marks from beak to fluke.

How old is Terry? Is he the same age as Semo?

Terry was older than Semo, but she passed away last year in October at about 51 years old. She was overweight, but she regularly did supervised interactions and DIP with a couple youngsters. So she probably isn't as active as Semo, but she was still very charismatic. I miss her.
I can since you asked, but they are nowhere as good as this one! How does Tuesday sound for a new batch?

Aww, Semo's so adorable. He loves interacting with people, that's for sure.
I miss seeing this guy so much, he's my favorite dolphin. It's great to see that he's doing so well in his new home!

I think he's the cutest bull I've seen! Yeah I can see what you mean. I think he's well too! They actually worked on some stuff like tailwalks, dorsal tows, fast swims, and a certain jump in a pool I was unable to photograph. I hope he and the girls start like, caring more about each other lol. It would be great if they could all be friends and I believe the ultimate goal is for him to sire some calves.

aww...after growing up visiting Semo at the Minnesota Zoo for nearly 20 years it's nice to see him looking happy at his new home.

Wow, you knew him for a long time! Personally, I didn't see him or the girls try to interact with one another but Semo is very responsive to the trainers and he did some impressive stuff! He also played with that toy you see in the background a lot. Hope he continues to do well.
