Rumor has it Shouka MAY be moved to Marineland Canada....thats what one of the trainers were telling me on Monday, because Ike and Kiska don't get along so they're looking for a companion (and possible mate) for him! Would love to see this move personally...she will finally be able to have orca/orca interaction again!

Are you sure? That's highly unlikely, considering the fact that Shouka is SFDK's selling point. That would would be awesome though, for her to have orca companions, as much as I'd hate to see her go.

Thats what the trainer and a few employees Said..they even had a few of her trainers up looking at the place a few weeks back. They would trade for Belugas or more dolphins if I had to guess, which would make up for Shouka.

Oh that's very interesting! And shoukatheorca would finally see her again, which is awesome. Most likely belugas, MLC is brimming with them and they can't afford to give up dolphins. I can see why SFDK would want belugas too.

Please be doubtful of that claim though, it is VERY unlikely SFDK would give up their only orca. Just because the trainers said it doesn't mean it will happen. I've been told that Kshamenk was coming about 6 years ago.

THat was more a political issue with Kshie....Argentina wouldn't allow the move, not the park. The park was more than willing.
