Description
Inside this tutorial i will teach you how to in a sketch in Photoshop CS4, with some tricks I use and thought it would really help everyone else if I publish them. So here it is. Please full view since it is a large image and take your time reading it. It will worth your while.If you have doubts or questions you can comment below and I'll answer as soon as possible. And please don't critique for any mistakes on calligraphy since English isn't my first language.

EDIT: Added some amplifications to the icons of Pen, Path, Brush and Eraser. Also corrected the position of Path.
EDIT: Corrected instruction #6 which was shorten.
EDIT: Changed the shortcut of the Brush Tool.
EDIT: Did some calligraphy corrections, added a gradient on the background and some shadows.

Everything's ok, expect for two facts: I can't use the pen tool AT ALL (no mater what I do with anchors, they just won't make the curve right) and the other one, the shortcut for the Brush Tool is "B", not "P" (which is shortcut for he Pen Tool).

it easy just make up your mind and be patient. All you have to do is think where is the best place to put every anchor and as simple as possible, keep trying you'll do it eventually. And thanks for the correction

Thanks so much this is gonna help me in understanding the pen tool, I usually do my linearts simply with the brush tool but it takes some time if i want it all nice and neat. So I'm guessing this will help me a lot. ^^

No you can't use this for any photoshop elements the tools are really basic in elements, and most complex feachers aren't there. Elements is more like and expensive demo.

How can I change a curve after done? I mean, the curve from point 1 to point 2 is ok, but when go to third point it makes a ugly curve =x if I try a 4th click the next curve is fine. Can I fix the ugly curve after done another point?
I am used to work on corel draw and curves are familiar, but photoshop is new for me and I couldn't find a right tool to do that =/

well i just bought a tablet like 2 weeks ago.. so now i do my sketches with the tablet.. but before it i used to make them by hand and then scanned them.
