A shot of an Orchid, taken at Kew Gardens.This has had some level adjustment done to it in Photoshop (Auto-Levels actually), and its one I'm not toooo happy with, but thought the flower was so nice I couldnt pass up posting it. It still seems too plain and dosnt stand out enough against the background though.

Yeah, I just took a trip to the Fuqua Orchid Center at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens not too long ago, took a bunch of pictures

Yes, the back on the left does look a bit odd, but it doesn't take away from the crazy colors on that flower, i've never seen one quite like it. looks great.

I like it. Good detail. I see what you mean about the backround though. I like it on the left, where there is the green at the back. But on the right it doesnt stand out as much. Shame its not green on both sides. Though its a nice picture anyway. Keep up the good pics.

Would have loved to have gotten closer and taken it from a nicer angle, but it was behind a fency thing at the time, and that was about the best I could get
