Agreed. The whole he/she thing going on with the character confuses me a little as well. Hiding a gender because people will think the person is a freak isn't a real reason to leave it anonymous. I'd just really like to know what that's all about.

Yup. I've talked to her about his backstory and Hallo said they would keep the character around for fun, since it's hard to write a good backstory, especially for halfa FCs. I tried it, can't do it, lol. XD She said something about wizardry, Halloween, and a haunted house or something. Not sure how that's gonna blend with the DP universe, but at least he has an original character design.
