Thanks
Half-Life a really intricate game franchise, that does narrative very differently from other games like it. I truly enjoy it, but i'm not all that great at it

Well, you are building your computer? How much are you putting into it in terms of processing power, RAM, hard drive space, etc.

To put it into terms the only way I know how, here is what I have: 1 stick of RAM, A mech hard drive plus an SSD, A Gigabyte motherboard, and that's about all I know. One of my customers on my paper route is going to download the operating system for me (thanks!!), and my Mom is giving me her old keyboard (am happy) and mouse (slightly less happy). Also I still have to find a video card... That's all I know.

Okay. The only advice I can really give is to make very sure the one you buy is compatible with your motherboard before you buy it. Having to return it and get a different one is probably the worst feeling ever.

Thanks for the advice!
I would be totally lost without experts like you!

I wouldn't say i'm an expert, i just know what i have done in the past, and what mistakes i have made. The computer i use now is the second one i built, and it works much better than the first one almost entirely because i didn't make the mistakes i did the first time.

Well, you didn't do it wrong, you just found another way of doing it ineffectively.
How true that is, my friend.
