Description I've always wanted to do a bath shot, and seeing as I'm only three days away from finishing my 365 self-portrait project, now seemed like an excellent time.

oh wow, great execution of this shot! how many shots did you have to take before you got the 4 you wanted? and what did you mount your camera on!?

congrats on your completion of 365! i've been doing mine for nearly 2 years and i couldn't imagine a day without taking pictures. check out ShutterCal.com for a site designed specifically with this type of project in mind if you decide to give 365 part 2 a try...

The camera is mounted on a tripod precariously perched above the bath. And I think I took eight or nine shots to get those.

Two years, huh? Well done you!

omg, precariously perched camera would totally freak me out. i'm way too paranoid that it would fall and break or drown. yikes!

A tripod extended all the way, and a bit of fear!

Your composition skills continue to astound me.

How did you take a picture of yourself from directly above? Did you hang the camera from something?

It's on a tripod.

I'm imagining a tripod with multiple arms that go out at all angles and doubles back on itself. It's quite a thing.

Haha, I wish. No, it's just a regular (although fairly good) one I got free with my new camera. It's around 1.5 metres tall, hence the elevation.
