Submitting this at an even smaller resolution than it already is would be painful for me. I think that this image is most impressive when it is very large. The original size of this happened to be the largest image I've ever worked with so far in my life. The mountains are made up of 10 photographs (I took them when I hiked Wheeler Peak in New Mexico, USA) and stitched together. The clouds are made up of 4 images taken from my roof. I created the moon and most of the stars in photoshop...and the nebula at the top I so delicately (hehe) adjusted and 'created' using the fits-liberator plug-in with a file of the m42 Orion Nebula found here . I really hope you enjoy this deviation

Total time to create...roughly 30+ hours because my computer was running soooo slow since it was such a giant image [7000(+)x????(+)]
