Thank you for the fix! This whole business with Yahoo has really throw my Rainmeter out of whack. Just last month I discovered your Simple Sentence skin and I was really loving it, but now I can't get it to work even with the fixes. It really bummed me out because that was one of my favorite skins. Here's hoping this whole mess gets sorted out sooner rather than later.

We are at the mercy of the providers of 'free' information. That means every once in a while we will need to make modifications. But that is what makes Rainmeter so flexible is the ability to customize it to your need!

Hopefully, there won't be any drastic changes, but again, we are not the ones "in control"...

Yahoo is making changes to what can be accesses without logging in... hopefully this new site will last.

The time is NOT the current time, but the time the weather info was updated by Yahoo.

This is really good; I have just started using RainMeter, and it's good to have an Illustro weather gadget.  Just one comment though - here in the UK we use Celsius now, and I got some weird results when I modified illustroWeather.ini accordingly.  When I checked your code I noticed that you say this:

weatherUnit=f
; set weather unit to 'F' for Fahrenheit or 'C' for Metric

but in fact it should say this:

weatherUnit=f
; set weather unit to 'f' for Fahrenheit or 'c' for Metric

because line 97 and following have:

[mUnits]
Measure=String
String=#weatherUnit #
IfMatch="c"

You test only for "c", not for "C"or "F", so unless weatherUnit=c, the code assumes degrees F.  (Also, conventionally  most coders write the comment just before the line in question, but I guess that's a matter of taste).

Otherwise, it's great; thank you.

An oversite =8) The skin only test for 'c'... I will change it to test for CAPITALIZATION, and it doesn't need the quotation marks, yikes!
Should be: IfMatch=c|C

The variables are preset to use Imperial measurements (Fahrenheit, MPH, etc.) and the way Yahoo weather works, the only time you will get Metric readings is if the weather unit is 'c' or 'C'.
If you enter any other letter as the 'weatherunit' value, the site will return Imperial by default. Try setting it to any letter other than 'c' and see (no pun intended!), so I only test for that letter.

Thanks for the feedback

No problems here...

Have you linked to the Yahoo site to see what they report for your location?
It will be the same data they supply as their feed for this skin.

Yahoo weather can return some 'odd' temperatures especially later in the day.

Works here and have not had any other issues...?

You have to set it up for YOUR location...

Open the skin in a text editor and follow the instructions included...
