Description
This is a WIP (work in progress.) - THIS IN NOT FINISHEDI know its small, but its better to start out small to get me back into this.
I'v been working on this for a couple hours, I wanted to put it on here so I can get some constructive critique, please say what I need to work on with it, I want to make this the best I can.
Anything you don't like, point it out as best as you can.

I agree with Red I would like to see more negative space too, draw more attention to that flare and give it more dimension. Since this is a work in progress, I can't really say much about that flare because I know over time it will evolve and will get more depth to it. I'm excited to see the finished product.

well, lets see. i like it, it's different. you did a great job with the flare and the stars, but they looks too uniform to me. there's somekind of "uniform randomness", something like a pseudo-chaos, i dont know if you get what i mean :/
i recommend you work with some dark-matter, hide some stars. you know, add some negative space.
i'm anxious to see it finished

In my opinion, it is fine the way it is...when I look at it, I become captivated in it, even if it is so "plain." I don't think you should do anything to it...but that is just me. great work, keep it up

Maybe a different shape (or some other action goin on) with the stars, they look a little plain like that.

like it already. For me the big blue thing looks like a really big explosion. If that is the case, you could try to make it more 3 dimensional. Maybe the bigger stars closerto the center and the smaller stars to the side, so that it looks like a sphere of stars coming out of the explosion. or add some gas that errupts into the space, not only to the sides but also into the direction of the viewer.
All suggestions based on the theory, that it is a big explosion. If it is not, forget about my comment

It looks a little empty (ignoring the fact that is what space is).
Add more stars, or a nebula maybe?
