Personality:

Router is the kind of carefree bot who loves nothing more than to tear down an open road with the wind on his windshield. Constantly rushing headlong into situations, he is well known for his recklessness and shortsightedness.

Particularly unpopular with his previous commanders and now, his teammate Deaftone, he’s talkative, excitable, and always ready for a challenge!

Though he often behaves carelessly, he does care a great deal for his teammates and would do anything to protect them.

Weaknesses/flaws:

. His habits of shortsightedness and reckless abandon often get him into tight spots that his teammates have to get him out of.

. He doesn’t seem to take much seriously, dashing around the battlefield cracking jokes and making quips or small talk as he incapacitates his opponents.

. Router hates flying, it makes him dizzy…. oh and sand. It makes his plating and joints grate.

Backstory:

Router was forged towards the end of the war for Cybertron, becoming an Autobot soldier not long after.

He ended up bouncing from squadron to squadron a fair amount as he didn’t mesh well with his commanding officers as a general rule, as they tried to get rid of the reckless young bot the first chance they got.

Eventually he got assigned to a team led by a femme named Galeforce. She and her team were heading out on a backup mission for another squad who was stuck in Decepticon controlled territory, and needed assistance, all ending in a successful mission with minimal casualties.

After Cybertron fell, his team ended up among the many Autobots who had been scattered throughout the nearby systems, after being instructed to flee, and then regroup with their superiors when they got word.

That word didn’t come for some time, and they spent a good several deca cycles fending off Decepticon warlords and sub factions.

Eventually they received the message Optimus prime sent out and headed to earth, only to be intercepted by yet another Decepticon sub faction not far out from their destination.

The Decepticons had superior firepower and ended up causing their ship to crash on a small island off the coast of Canada. Since then, they have been busy keeping the pressure off other Autobot forces on earth from stray Decepticons.
