Garry the Sleeping Beauty, pwahahahahhahaa.
I lose patience the more I work on a piece. It's terrible, so hopefully I'll be more patient with original art instead of fanart (my own babies!)
Mourning Bride's Right Hand (left one shown in picture) should be renamed Eclipse's Fallen Hand...description would say that it withered and fell because of extensive abuse.

Also, there is more than that. Surprisingly, I can find mistakes, it's just that it's terribly hard to change without erasing everything at a certain point in the painting (esp since I do each character in one layer)
1. Lighting. It appears lighting is coming from the top to some degree so there should be deeper shadows cast on Mary and half of Garry. Ib's face lacks shading and her body requires dark areas hidden from the light source. All the objects should have more dramatic shadows, which are missing. The portals don't cast enough reflective light either. Roses need more shadow for 3D effect.

2. Texture. The clouds should be of softer texture and smoother, wispier. I think that one was just pure laziness. Bunnies need to be fluffy, not rubber.

3. Perspective. The entire perspective is wrong. The angle of the oval created by the frames don't reflect Garry's body slant. Roses need to be a lot larger in the foreground, and blurred. I'm not going to say any more about this. HAHAHA.

4. Placement. Too cluttered; there should be a planned placement of objects, preferably to the golden ratio curve, which is highly pleasing to the eye. I was also going to paint more roses above the current roses to add layers, but I didn't, so now the roses look like a smooshed, smooth, solid surface.

5. Colors. A bit dark and saturated, though it is purposely somewhat dark because of the horror theme. Can't say for sure, since it might be diff on others' computers.

6. Technique. Clothing folds are atrocious compared to my drawing Acid Rain. Hair is a bit stiff and unnatural, esp on Garry. And I'll try not to put things on the wrong layer next time.

7. Anatomy. SPEW TIME.
(a)Garry's eyes are placed too high.
(b)Garry's arm, Ib's back/waist, as you have mentioned
(c)Mary's lack of shoulders
(d)3/4 face views of Garry and Ib. Noses lack substance even for an anime drawing and MOUTHS. Mouths need more 3D pop.
(e)Hands. OK I'LL USE A REF OR LOOK AT MY HAND NEXT TIME.
(f)Garry's neck is too long. Ear too small.
(g)Garry's and Ib's chins too pointy.
(h)Garry's got long arms

So, don't be afraid to critique me. I can see mistakes, but so can you, and if you tell me, then it will be a better reminder for me to watch for these mistakes. I can be highly critical of myself sometimes, but I upload them anyways to annoy the hell out of myself later so that I'll improve. If it's just on my computer, I'll never look at it. If it is in my gallery, I'll try to make an improvement progression.
Main points to improve:
> Anatomy
> Composition + Lighting
> Detail and patience

ANATOMY AND COLORING WERE THE REASONS I RAGE-QUITTED BECAUSE I HADN'T SKETCHED IT OUT RIGHT AND IT WAS DRAWN ALL ON ONE LAYER

Ah---- will use reference next time. Hell...I've been bad and not using reference this entire time. F.F.F. I should go back to the habit of my old days with realism, except back then I drew landscapes, still-lifes, and animals. Rarely drew humans.

;__; you should also watch Cry play it (chaoticmonki); they're buddies, haha.
Pewdie kinda made me frustrated because he missed out on a lot of features in the game because he's the type to rush through. He's funny though, but I feel like these kinds of puzzle games are less for him, than Amnesia games are.

Cry has a marvelous voice and he goes through the game quite nicely. He's really funny too, haha.
