I'm very pleased with this picture. But like many of the other recent ones I've submited, this one is also for a contest, so critique is encouraged. Only problem is that all the coloring was done on one layer so I don't think much can be done wiht the background. (the contest wanted emphasis on the clothes more then anything else) The use of filters for this picture were very limited. Only brightness and contrast where used and by themselves, didn't need that much adjustment. Meaning, what you see is what I actually painted, not some computer manipulated piece.

(if you look real close and compare this to a picture in my scraps, you'll see that I borrowed the pose for this) (as for that picture, I'm uncertain if I want to finish it or not)

I thought it was very creative what I did. Her shoes are my proudest additions, which if you can't tell, have glowsticks in the heels surrounded by some sort of plastic casing. I've always been interested in symbols such as the biohazard symbol, hence the reason why it was added since the pants were already green. I need to learn how to do jewlery and big, furry things together. The tail was actually rather hard for me to figure out what to do with. Now the interesting part of this picture is that this outfit will be against her mother (Koishii Kitty) so we shall see who has the better sense of fashion in the family.

The "rave" contest was on Sheezy Art so I can't really give direct links that I know of.

I'm also told that what I'm actually wanting this to be is not a "rave" but instead something called a "poi". I still have to research both to understand what people really mean about either definition.
