Now for something more real for my mostly inactive account. A commission for =StampyDragon of his macro (giant) anthro sabre tooth cat, Fang.Yup, she is standing on mountains.
If you look at the bottom foreground, you will see things like a stone henge, cheaply (attempted) drawn mammoths, and between the two pads of the foreground paw, a tiny village.
One thing I am very happy about this with is the mountains. The right ones I didn't know what I was doing when I started with them. The ones on the left though I used a more "Bob Ross" look. I think they look very good for their simplicity.

Wow, first up I have to go out and say that this not only is this quite possibly the most detailed commission I've ever received, but it was also worth every penny. You did a great job working out How Fang would look in what has to be said is a very complicated pose, and even more difficult angle with the forced foreshortening there on her legs.
The thing I feel really has to be highlighted however is the amount of detail you put into your texture work, the long fur on her paws, and clothing looks absolutely fantastic, the detail on the spots is great and the texture of the hair looks stunning.
I love all the tiny details you added in down there. The little tribe there is almost lost to the vastness of her paws there, but you can still just about make it out. The mammoths and the mammoths there really add to the sense of scale here too. Poor stone age civilisations, they kinda don't have much chance with predators the size of Fang hanging around!
But yes, fantastic job. Absolutely love everything about this picture, you really outdid yourself!

I guess much like what I learned from your work, adding all these tiny little details adds up, even if I don't do as extensive "Where's Waldo?" sort of picture.

It wasn't that long ago, but then I spend even longer faffing around with pictures. Nah, you did an absolutely great on this picture. Worth every penny. Oh, and keep all these pictures together if you don't mind. I'd love to be sent them at some point if that's at all possible.
