Description
NOTE :: MORE QUESTION UPDATEQ : Where can I get copic markers? Do you have any recommended place?
A : There are several places selling Copic markers. You may check out you local art stores. Or as *SheCow recommendation, go browsing on Ebay. Ebay has more choices and probably sometimes has a very surprised deal! Check it out!
NEWS :: As mentions, "you can get copics from dickblick.com at a discount whereas buying them else where. (discount is at most 40% of the actual cost of copics)
Q : Copic markers are still expensive, Any brand do you recommend with a lower price?
A : Even though Copic markers are the best one for me, I admit that the price is still high. For some of you who want to use other brands, I recommend Neopiko from DELETER. These markers work pretty well and easy to blend like Copic markers (not 100% but yeah, still good enough to use!). And of course they come out with good price. But just keep in mind that Neopiko might hard to find on stores compare with Copic. So if you're interested, check 'em online. Yo!
For Prisma and Tristars markers...I've never used them so I can't tell about how good or tips...sorry about that TAT
=================
YAY! as I promised before *got shot*...hope it will be helpful for you guys. Any question for copic markers are welcome (umm...if I can answer as well TwT)..lol

Best Thanks for for her awesome copics XD

i just spotted 1 guy on deviant that spend 600$ on his copic markers and then i thought "is it worth it?"I mean for 600$ you can buy large Wacom Intuos 4 tablet which lets you do the same that copic markers do and more.So i just wanted to ask people who own copic markers or a tablet their opinion
Oh and sorry for the mistakes i may have done here english is my secondary language

I happen to see this comment and I figured I'd answer it; with copics it's really the thinner the better. You can buy special marker paper (I have from the brand copic itself, I'm sure other brands sell it too) which is bleed-proof ^^

Thank you! One question! After you apply the shadow tones on the skin, is it ok to let it dry? Or do you have to work really fast while the ink is wet? And does that same rule apply to coloring anything else?

i thought you would like to know ecthelian.... there is a brand of markers similar to copics called "shinhan touch markers".... they are pretty good but the only draw back is that they bleed a bit in the beginning because they are to "juicy" of a marker in the beginning... you can also replace the nibs and ink with copic brands... if you havent tried it yet... id recommend it.. they are cheaper then copics as well... and thanks for the great tutorial...

GREAT TUTORIAL! I love it, you explain very well and I understood everything I wanted to buy copics since I saw the awesome drawings that are made with them, but for me (I'm still studying) they are expensive so I can't afford them, but someday if I earn some money I'll buy some!
See ya!

woww! This looks really helpful. I just bought a few skin toned copic markers. & I've been having trouble blending. A lot of ppl usually put the base color on first, so I tried doing that. It was difficult. I think your way will work better for me. :3 thanks!
