I really love your work. The House of Fingolfin is my favorite elvenhouse from Tolkien's writings.
Fingolfin looks so kingly! A masterpiece.

Thank you!

If I had to choose a house to follow, the House of Fingolfin would definitely be the one. Fingon has been my favorite character for years; and Fingolfin has always been among my top three. I guess all that love just shows, lol

I was crying when I read how Fingon died. It's so sad . I prefer both his or Fingolfin's household.
But for some way I don't really like Turgon, sure, he has done great things, but I dislike how he remains hidden while the rest of Beleriand goes up in flames. I would have smacked the Feanoreans in their face. Or knock on Morgoth's door and run away really quickly just to tease him .

im sry but fingolfin hair is yellow like the hair colour of his mother, Indis, that was a Vanyar. maybe u can change this artwork name to feanor, and it will be still nice, because feanor is his brother and his hair colour indeed was black.

is right- Fingolfin is said to have dark hair, while Finarfin is the one who inherited his mother's golden hair.

I politely disagree,

There is nowhere in The Silmarillion that indicates his hair color. However, according to HoMe 12, The Shibboleth of Feanor, Fingolfin is said to be 'his father's son' and 'tall and dark', more like his father than his mother.

Not a word is said in the Silmarillion on Figolfin's hair colour. Finarfin is expressly said to be blonde, which causes many people to believe Fingolfin was too, but that's an error, plain and simple.

Tolkien wrote later (published in the History of Middle-earth, by his son Christopher, not in the published version of the Silmarillion) that Fingolfin, as well as all his children (Fingon, Turgon, Argon [not mentioned in the published Silmarilion either], and Aredhel) had dark hair as well.

Textual proof if you want it: "Fingolfin was his father's son, tall, dark, and proud..." (The History of Miffle-earth volume 12: The Peoples of Middle-earth. Edited by Christopher Tolkien, HarperCollins Publishers, 1996. Page 336 in a text called "The Shibboleth of Feanor", written by J. R. R. Tolkien in or slightly after 1968.

Well i guess this is a cruel truth, i will have to stop convincing myself that all this is a lie, for the respect i have to Tolkien :S.
