Character illustration for The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien.Featuring Fingolfin, with his mighty sword.
I agree that it seems appropriate for a Noldorin King to make his own sword.

I liked how you placed the character on old parchment paper, but then added a celestial glow around the character himself.

My characters all look a little 'modern' - that's why I chose to set them on parchment paper with the hope of adding some 'archaic' feeling.

Well if a Noldorin King were one of the best smiths around, and wanted to spend time doing a hobby that he likes and making something useful, I'd think it's very appropriate indeed 8D
