Illustration for The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien.This is the famous scene where Fingon, son of Fingolfin, rescued Maedhros from Thangorodrim.
It was done by cooperation: the sketch of Fingon was done by me, while the sketch of Maedhros was done by Darkmage. The coloring was done by me.

I think the drawing is amazing, but you should take the text off. The drawing looks stunning but the text makes it look like the cover of a romance novel or something, you know?

I knew the text looks very annoying...however, I can't think of another way to acknowledge the artists. If it were only myself it would be easier, but there is another one involved in this case,

That's true. If the text bothers you maybe you could try using a font and colors that were more discrete? maybe if it was grey or something. or if the text was smaller. The Drawing IS stunning tough

Wow. You two made this work better than I've ever done. Jus one thig: if I' were you, I'd tried to do something wit this white edges. But still the drawings themselves are awesome.

Yeah, I should have done something with the white edges. They separated the characters from the background. Let me revise it,
