Pretty damn great, even if it doesn't hold up scientically today. The pterosaurs clinging to his back is a great touch.

Rhamphorhynchidae were extinct in the Cretaceous. Also Deinonychus and Tyrannosaurus never met, they lived in different periods. Also, what I dislike on this piece is that T-Rex is depicted as a scavenger who steals food from the superior Raptors. It's physically impossible that Raptors could take down prey in this size like the Hadrosaur, either it is initially the prey of Rex or it died on something different (disease, weakness, accident, etc.).
Alltough the T-Rex really looks nasty and mean, this is well done.

Ah, the fine line I walk drawing dinosaurs . I didn't model the raptors after any specific skeleton and kinda labeled them Deinonychus as an afterthought, didn't really call these Rhamphorynchoids (again, I just drew whatever generic pterosaurs came to me). Didn't ever say the raptors brought down the hadrosaur themselves. I did decide to model this T-Rex after Horner's scavenger theory for fun to see what he might look like.

When I intend to draw a fully accurate picture of dinosaurs, I grab my books off the shelf and do my research. When I am sitting around away from home drawing a scene for fun (such as here) I don't. I shouldn't have to put a disclaimer next to all my paleo-art indicating "drawn just for fun" or "drawn using the latest theories of an ever-changing field of science".

I draw dinosaurs, I have an extensive knowledge of them, but not so much that I can carry it with me wherever I go. I doubt that your art (however great it may be ) will always be 100% scientifically accurate, so please, cool off on the scientific criticisms for me and for every paleo-artist on here.

wooow This is incredible! I swear you must have gone back in time and drew the dinosaurs because these are so original what do you draw these on

Most of my art on here is just regular pencil on regular copy paper, then scanned and colored digitally so I can keep the original drawing. This one, Sanctuary, and Raptor Red are done with pens in addition to the pencil lines.
