Scarlet and Amethyst, Spider vs. Magic, Twilight Sparkle, the Amethyst Sorceress vs. Mary Jane Watson, the Scarlet Spider!What if Twilight Sparkle's actions in summoning Spider-Man to Equestria had not only changed his fate but also the fate of Mary Jane Watson who was meant to play the role that brought her and Peter together after Gwen Stacy's death which Twilight had unintentionally snatched the chance from her? What if something terrible happened to those that were close to MJ (her Aunt Anna, her older sister Gayle), who she distanced herself from, because Spider-Man (having disappeared for 4 years) was not there to save them which left her bitter and distant?
What if she was there when Spider-Man briefly returned to Earth and had witnessed his brief death at the hands of Venom-Luna and his final battle against the Green Goblin and discovered that Twilight was the reason why Peter disappeared (having always known a long time ago that Peter Parker and Spider-Man are one and the same) and shifted blame on her believing she never gave Peter a choice to begin with? And what if the events of "Spider-Island" occurred differently and MJ became a hardened vigilante known as the "Scarlet Spider" after gaining her powers from Adriana Soria aka the Spider-Queen's spider-flu, fighting a war that Earth was losing? What if these two were to meet face to face? Will they put aside their differences or will their views towards each other be played by outside forces and one will end up destroying the other? Who knows...

MJ/Scarlet Spider: (sighs) That's...thank you, Twilight: I...I suppose I needed to hear that (looks down in sorrow) It's just...even removing Spider-man from the equation, Peter Parker was my hero: he was the only one who saw the real me, believed that I could be something...better: now he's made a home in some other world and there's nobody left to stand up to guys like the Kingpin, or the Lizard, or any of New York's other big bads...
Twilight/Amethyst Sorceress: (shakes her head) Yes there is (smiles as MJ turns towards her) Her name is Mary Jane Watson, the Scarlet Spider, but her friends call her MJ (places a hand on her shoulder) I won't pretend that things wouldn't have gone differently, possibly even "better", for you if Peter had stayed in this world: obviously he was more important that Jameson liked to pretend... (they both share a short chuckle) ...but the fact that you took it upon yourself to use your newly acquired powers to fight the Spider Queen shows that Peter was RIGHT to have seen something special in you (smirks impishly) Face it, Tiger: you just earned the jackpot
MJ/Scarlet Spider: (speechless for a while, but nods) Thank you (looks towards Peter) Look after him okay?
Twilight/Amethyst Sorceress: (nods) Always (and cue the embrace)
